Symantec has discovered a new website that impersonates Facebook apparently behind a campaign video featuring a "SexScandal" by Paolo Bediones.
on the website you can see a message asking users to login to view sex videos.if the user enters their login credentials from Facebook,the phishing page steals your username and password and then redirects to adult website that hosts the video promised.To redirect users to this adult website that hosts the video promised.To redirect users to this adult website,users are less likely o be aware that they have been scammed.
to avoid becoming victims of phishing attacks follow these recommendations:
*check the URL in the address bar when you log into your account to make sure it corresponds to the page you want visit.
*Do not click on suspicious links in emails.
*Do not provide any personal information to respond to emails.
*Do not enter personal information in pop-up page
* when entering personal or financial information ,make sure that the website is encrypted with an SSL certificate looking for the padlock icon and "HTTPS" in the address bar.
*use comprehensive security software antivirus.
*Use caution when clicking on links sent via email or posted on enticing social networks.
